Built in 1895, the Church of the Resurrection was badly damaged during World War II and subsequently only partially rebuilt. The state of the building continued to deteriorate until the fall of the Berlin Wall, making extensive reconstruction necessary. The concept of an ecologically-oriented events centre was developed in cooperation with the parish. Modern materials such as glass and steel now complete the listed building and restore the church to its original proportions.
