Schloss Wackerbarth is unique: Europe ’s first see-for-yourself wine-growing estate. Situated just outside Dresden, Schloss Wackerbarth is Saxony ’s largest wine-growing estate and oldest sparkling wine producer.

Schloss Wackerbarth is a delightful venue to experience the world of pleasures surrounding wines and champagnes. Alongside the "transparent" wine and champagne manufactory, the rustic cellar vaults, the historical ensemble of manor, outhouses and belvedere, and the extensive Baroque gardens, guests at Schloss Wackerbarth are able to experience one thing above all others: the world of wine and champagne production at close quarters.

This ideal framework and our professionalism guarantee extraordinary events. The range of offers made by Schloss Wackerbarth includes guided tours through the vineyards, the wine and champagne manufactory and/or the Baroque manor and gardens; wine tasting and wine seminars. Our restaurant offers gourmet meals, prepared by our head cook, to our guests.

Furthermore, the team of Schloss Wackerbarth will count itself lucky to arrange events such as conventions and seminars, client and staff events, product presentations, family celebrations, weddings or anniversaries and class reunions according to your individual convenience.

Our room facilities consist of the Belvedere (82m²), the Historique Vinotheque (220m²), the Wine Cellar (275m²), the Sandstone Vaults (126m²) and the palace with 8 rooms of different size (total: 387 m²). The wide range of different sizes and styles of our rooms offers event possibilities for almost every demand and taste.
