The church has been built in a neo-Romanesque style and is three-aisled.
Above the area around the entrance there is an oratory with an add-on roodloft, which is built all around the buidling and eventually ends in an organ- and performerstage.
Even though the church has been refurbished into and event church the structure and charme of the church are completely preserved.

The abbatial church Hennef is now the officially the second register office of the city Hennef.

Since the end of 2010 you have the possibility to book the abbaty church in Hennef with a floor area of 750m˛ for smaller and bigger occasions for up to 200 guests (indoor).
The huge open space with several possibilities for decoration and design is especially suited for seminars, congresses, weddings.
Additioanlly it is possible to hold events with a plenum, followed by small working groups, since it is possible to divide the main aisle from the sides, in order to create different spaces.
By doing this it is made possible to hold in-house exibitions as well.
